📢 Winter Storm Notice – Hazardous Travel Conditions

The City of Peshtigo is currently experiencing whiteout conditions and extremely hazardous travel throughout the city.

The Peshtigo Police Department is asking residents to stay home and avoid travel unless it is absolutely necessary.Multiple vehicles have already become stuck on city streets, making it difficult for snowplows to clear roads and for emergency responders to move through the community.

Residents are strongly encouraged to stay off the roads so plow crews can safely clear streets and improve conditions.

If travel cannot be avoided due to an emergency, please do so with extreme caution.
If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.

🚛Garbage Pickup Schedule Changes

Due to the storm, the garbage pickup schedule will shift this week:

• Monday pickups → Tuesday
• Tuesday pickups → Wednesday
• Wednesday pickups → Thursday

The City is currently working with the recycling contractor regarding recycling pickup, as this service is provided by an out-of-town company. Additional updates will be provided when available.

Residents are encouraged to check on neighbors and stay safe during this storm.
